Maruti Baleno Likely to Get New Top-spec CNG Trim, Here’s What We Know So Far

The company has not confirmed the details as of yet. However, some reports suggested that the above-mentioned model might hit the market in the coming days.

The Maruti Suzuki has been receiving an overwhelming response from customers in India, a big credit goes to top offerings such as Swift, Dzire and Baleni. In a move to attract more target audiences, the company is likely to launch the latest CNG top model in Baleno’s lineup.

The company has not confirmed the details as of yet. However, some reports suggested that the above-mentioned model might hit the market in the coming days.

Engine

The report says the upcoming top-spec CNG trim will use the engine option as an ongoing version. However, the customer will get less power output as compared to the normal petrol model.

Design and Features

Design-wise, the vehicle will get the same style statement as the ongoing model, featuring the same front fascia with an LED headlight setup paired with integrated DRLS and round-shaped fog lamps. The hatchback will be treated with notable features like cruise control, auto-folding ORVMs, auto-dimming IRVM, 360-degree camera and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Current CNG Model

Meanwhile, the Baleno CNG is only available in Delta and Zeta variants. It uses a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, which generates a maximum power of 88 bhp and 113 Nm. When switched to the CNG, it will offer a restricted output of 76 bhp and 98 Nm.
