EVRE, a key player in India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, has launched its advanced EV charger manufacturing plant at the Patancheru Industrial Development Area in Hyderabad.
Capacity and Expansion Plans
Initially, the unit will produce up to 5,000 EV chargers per month. Over the next few months, the facility will ramp up production to 20,000 chargers to meet increasing demand.
By 2026, the facility’s capacity will double to 10,000 chargers monthly, underlining EVRE’s commitment to scalability and promoting widespread EV adoption in India.
The facility will manufacture a wide range of EV chargers, from 3.3 kW AC to 360 kW DC chargers, with a focus on delivering high-quality products for both the Indian market and global markets.
Krishna K Jasti, Founder and CEO of EVRE, shared the company’s vision:”At EVRE, we are targeting large residential complexes across India that have little to no access to EV charging infrastructure, bringing premium EV charging experience at the doorstep of every user so they do not need to depend on public chargers with significant downtimes.”
The new facility is expected to create over 50 local jobs, contributing to Hyderabad’s economy.
It will feature cutting-edge automated testing equipment for chargers and components, helping to reduce testing times, eliminate errors, and ensure each product meets the highest quality standards.
