As India celebrates its 79th Independence Day under the theme “Honouring Freedom, Inspiring the Future”, homegrown electric vehicle and energy solutions pioneer MATTER has unveiled a bold mission — the Right to Charging.
Why Fast Charging Matters
With motorcycles making up 65 percent of India’s two-wheeler market, fast and reliable charging infrastructure is essential. MATTER has unveiled its 3kW fast charger, capable of powering the MATTER AERA from 0 percent to 80 percent in just 90 minutes.
Connected via the MATTERVerse App, riders can check charger locations, availability, and live charging status, making the experience seamless and convenient.
Where Will Charging Hubs Appear?
The rollout is ambitious and nationwide. MATTER Energy Charge Hubs will be installed across residential complexes, public parking areas, and commercial hubs. The company is also advocating for charging points at every two-wheeler parking space, offering on-demand installations at homes, workplaces, and public locations.
MATTER dealerships will be equipped with fast chargers, and partner networks will integrate into the MATTERVerse App for unified access.
According to Mohal Lalbhai, Founder and Group CEO of MATTER, “As India celebrates its 79th year of freedom, we must also ensure our riders have the freedom to choose clean mobility without restriction.”
How Are Riders Benefiting?
In the initial phase, charging will be free for all MATTER AERA riders at MATTER Experience Hubs nationwide.
