What is the current and next Genshin Impact banner?

Gaming

Genshin Impact banners rotate every few weeks on a precise schedule, and we always know what to expect thanks to regular updates from HoYoverse. The developer of the anime game always keeps its fans in the loop with regular livestreams and social media updates, so you can plan in advance where you want to spend your hard-earned primogems.

With a two to three-week turnaround for banners, the roster of Genshin Impact characters is always changing, and the free PC game regularly introduces two new characters to wish for. Every limited-time character banner – or event wish – contains a five-star character and three four-star characters with increased drop rates. There’s also a Genshin Impact weapon banner, which runs alongside each character banner and changes weapons every update.

Genshin Impact current event banner

The second phase of Genshin Impact banners in the 4.7 update launched on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Players have the chance to add Sigewinne and Furina to their parties, as well as Noelle, Gaming, and Rosaria. This banner runs until Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

Sigewinne’s ‘Romaritime Meluserenity’ banner includes:

  • Sigewinne
  • Noelle
  • Gaming
  • Rosaria

Furina’s ‘Chanson of Many Waters’ banner features:

  • Furina
  • Noelle
  • Gaming
  • Rosaria

Genshin Impact current weapon banner

The Genshin Impact weapon pity system allows you to pull a five-star weapon on the current weapon banner.

The featured weapons on the current Epitome Invocation banner are:

  • Silvershower Heartstrings
  • Splendor of Tranquil Waters
  • Lithic Blade
  • Lion’s Roar
  • Favonius Lance
  • Favonius Codex
  • Sacrificial Bow

Next Genshin Impact banner

The next banner is set to take place with the launch of Genshin Impact 4.8. The first banner is set to feature Navia and Nilou, with the second set of banners containing Emilie and Yelan.

Genshin Impact Chronicled Wish

The Chronicled Wish system is a pathway for players to target specific five-star characters and weapons. Only certain characters can appear on the Chronicled Wish, specifically those that have appeared on at least three character event wishes, and they can’t have appeared on any recent banners.

Here are the six characters that appeared on the Genshin Impact Chronicled Wish:

  • Eula
  • Mona
  • Albedo
  • Klee
  • Diluc
  • Jean

Here are the five-star weapons that appeared on the first Genshin Impact Chronicled Wish:

  • Beacon of the Reed Sea (Claymore)
  • Song of Broken Pines (Claymore)
  • Wolf’s Gravestone (Claymore)
  • Skyward Pride (Claymore)
  • Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds (Catalyst)
  • Skyward Atlas (Catalyst)
  • Skyward Blade (Sword)
  • Aquila Favonia (Sword)
  • Skyward Spine (Polearm)
  • Hunter’s Path (Bows)
  • Skyward Harp (Bows)

While this mechanic was introduced in the 4.5 update, it hasn’t been used since that updated ended back in April. There are rumors that the Chronicled Wish system is going to return in 4.8 with different characters, including Hu Tuo, Yelan, and Ganyu.
