7-Seater Dropped, New 6-Seater Introduced
Maruti Suzuki has phased out the older 7-seater variant, replacing it with a new 6-seater layout. The second row now features captain seats, providing better comfort for passengers. The familiar 5-seater variants remain unchanged.
Interior Features
The 2025 Eeco now comes with fabric upholstery, replacing the older PVC material. The front seats now recline outwards, a change from the previous inward recline design. The cabin also features:
- A digital instrument cluster
- New steering wheel
- Rotary controls for AC and heater
- Cabin air filter
- Dome lamp with battery saver mode
- Sliding doors and windows
In the 5-seater variants, Maruti has added a luggage restraint system in the boot, offering better safety by limiting cargo movement during sudden stops or impacts.
Powertrain
Under the bonnet, the Eeco continues with the 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine that delivers 80 bhp and 104.4 Nm of torque. On CNG, it produces 71 bhp and 95 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.
A major update is that the engine is now E20 fuel compatible—supporting a mix of 20 percent ethanol and 80 percent petrol, meeting the government’s latest emission norms.
