A dramatic house transformation has been branded “perfect” after the owners followed one “rule” when deciding on the changes to implement.

Sharon Hornsby regularly offers TikTok users insight into the dramatic transformation her home, which was originally a two bedroom lodge, has undergone over the years.
In a recent video celebrating her “six-year house anniversary”, Sharon shared a string of clips of the “stunning” home and, in a voiceover, explained how it all came together, garnering praise from fellow social media users.
She explained: “It’s our house anniversary – six years ago, we bought this two bed lodge to renovate and here’s where we are today.
“Still not finished, what with Covid and everything else we’ve had to deal with over the last few years in our personal lives but we’re getting there.
“We added two two-storey extensions to the house to give us two more bedrooms and more space downstairs.
“We’ve remodelled the whole of the interior of the house – it was basically a shell. It’s been, pretty much, a DIY job to get where we are today but we’re almost there – that seems to be the story of this house.”
The house features a stylish blend of modern touches with decor and remodel decisions that are sympathetic to the era of the property – and it’s this commitment to respecting the building’s history which has many people convinced it’s a flawless transformation.
