A native from Lucknow living as an IT firm professional in Hyderabad was found driving her car on the Railway track at the Nagulapally-Shankarpally line.

In a highly unusual incident, a woman in Hyderabad drove her SUV along a railway track for nearly 3 kilometres, leading to a major disruption in train services on Thursday morning, June 26. The incident occurred between Nagulapally and Shankarpally stations in Telangana, bringing train operations to an unexpected halt for around 30 minutes.
According to a Times of India report, the woman entered the tracks through gate number 22 around 7:30 AM IST. Nearby residents noticed the vehicle and promptly alerted authorities. Despite multiple attempts by officials to stop her, the woman continued driving along the track until she was eventually intercepted by railway staff and handed over to local police.
The woman shockingly continued driving the vehicle despite attempts from the authorities to stop her. Soon she lost control of the vehicle and it was found stuck at a crossing near Shankarpally by the Railway engineering staff. “The woman driver, who was wearing a mask, got down with an iron rod and hurled stones at people who tried to approach her. Railway staff overpowered her and handed her over to Shankarpally police,” a railway police official told TOI.
The Hyderabad police identified the woman during a preliminary investigation, confirming she is from Lucknow and living in Hyderabad due to her professional commitments with an IT firm. She recently lost her job and had gone to the Narsingi police station with a grievance earlier that morning around 6:30 AM before suddenly leaving without taking her bag.
After discovering the bag, the Narsingi police officials began searching for the woman while she went on a drive towards Nagulapally and unleashed the most strange scenes witnessed by the locals and authorities as her SUV was found running on the railway track.
The police accused the lady of obstructing their duties at the Shankarpally police station. With her medical condition during the incident falling under doubt, the woman had been taken for a checkup at the Chevella government hospital, following which an investigation is underway and further details regarding the incident are awaited. The Railway services resumed after the car was removed from the track at 8 AM that morning.
