The leading motorcycle maker, BSA, which falls under Classic Legends, has expanded its product line internationally. The company has updated the Bantam nameplate in the UK and has launched Bantam 350. The latest offering is based on the Jawa 42 FJ, but it offers a long list of features with cutting-edge technology.
What’s So Unique
The newly launched Bantam 350 has been positioned at an entry level overseas to capture the masses. It has been reported that the model is likely to be introduced in the European market soon. Those who are wondering about the Indian launch, the company has no plan for the same as yet. However, it is soon going to bring Scrambler 650 to hook the customers in the country.
Design
Talking about the top elements, the Bantam 350 uses the same chassis and suspension setup as the Jawa 42 FJ. However, the company has given a sleeker look to the motorcycle to make it look bolder and aggressive compared to the FJ. The Bantam 350 comes with a round-shaped headlight setup, a minimalist tail section, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and has single-seating arrangement.
Engine
At the heart, it uses the same 334cc, liquid-cooled, Alpha 2 motor, which has been used in the entire Jawa-Yezdi lineup. It generates somewhere 29bhp and nearly 29Nm of peak torque. The unit is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
