Exports were up 222 percent compared to November 2023, reflecting Nissan’s expanding global reach and growing customer confidence in its ‘Made in India’ vehicles.
November 2024 also saw a significant increase in exports, up by 62% from October, which had 5,570 units.
Nissan Motor India has achieved a major milestone, reaching over 5 lakh domestic sales since its operations began, with a total of 513,241 units sold to date.
In November 2024, the company reported strong wholesale dispatches of 9,040 units, boosted by sustained demand for its vehicles, particularly the New Nissan Magnite SUV. Of these, 2,342 units were sold domestically, while exports accounted for 6,698 units.
The month-on-month growth in wholesale dispatches was impressive, with a 62 percent increase from 5,570 units in October to 9,040 units in November. A significant driver of this surge was the 222 percent year-on-year growth in exports, which jumped from 2,081 units in November 2023 to 6,698 units in November 2024.
Exports also saw a remarkable 173.5 percent increase from October’s 2,449 units. This impressive export growth underscores Nissan’s expanding presence in international markets and the growing confidence in its ‘Made in India’ vehicles.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, expressed pride in the company’s achievement, saying, “Nissan remains committed to its India operations, dealers, partners, and customers. We remain on track for our plans announced earlier this year at the launches of the Nissan X-TRAIL and New Nissan Magnite.”
The increasing demand for the ‘Made in India’ Magnite has helped Nissan expand its export footprint to over 45 new markets, bringing its total presence to more than 65 countries, including upcoming launches in Left-Hand Drive markets.
This achievement strengthens India’s role as a key export hub for Nissan. The New Nissan Magnite, with its bold design and over 20 segment-leading features, continues to impress customers around the world.
