High-end luxury cars continue to attract India’s esteemed cricketers and stand firm in their list of assets. India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has emerged as another automobile enthusiast in the international cricket scene. The swashbuckling right-hander seems to have recently purchased a Toyota Vellfire luxury MPV and was spotted arriving in the vehicle with his wife.
In a video on the internet, Suryakumar and his better half were seen coming out of a black Toyota Vellfire stopped outside a shop in Mumbai. While the usually jovial Mumbai Indians cricketer didn’t quite look in his element in the clip, automobile fanatics would’ve been glued to his expensive possession.
Toyota Vellfire luxury MPV – Popular Among Cricketers
Notably, the Toyota Vellfire luxury MPV is a very popular model among cricketers and celebrities in India. The Vellfire that Suryakumar was spotted with is the latest edition of the MPV and boasts a shining black colour that strengthens its intimidating road appearance. The facelift has an upgraded grille and sleeker headlamps.
The car features a kink on the lower window line, which resembles the design of a thunderbolt. Suryakumar’s MPV sports blacked-out pillars and chrome garnishes while also containing a massive glass area and 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. In another update on the previous version, it has redesigned LED tail lamps that have a connecting LED bar.
The vehicle is also packed with a fully digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, ADAS features, as well as ventilated and heated seats. It also has an electrically adjustable steering wheel.
Other Features
Suryakumar Yadav’s Vellfire is one of the most advanced MPVs, featuring electric window curtains for both second and third-row passengers. The vehicle is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that is paired with a strong hybrid system and generates around 193 PS and 240 Nm of peak torque.
Toyota’s Vellfire is available for rich and prominent customers in India in two variants: the Hi and Executive Lounge Package. While the Hi variant is priced at Rs 1.22 crore (ex-showroom), the Executive Lounge Package variant comes at a cost of Rs 1.32 crore (ex-showroom). Suryakumar seems to have purchased the more expensive one. He also has cars like Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d, Nissan 1-ton pickup truck, Mercedes G63 AMG Grand Edition parked in his garage.
